MEETING OUR LiK BLOCKS
Our Measures
The LiK wooden blocks are developed based on two measurement systems represented by the following basis:
The Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci sequence
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ... These numbers appear in our environment delimiting the proportions of small and big elements. The sequence numbers that explains about the whimsical shapes in the nature and the beauty itself.
The mathematics behind the beauty. A mathematical way to observe and understand the nature. Along our history, these number appear in most elements created by the humankind, since the old World Wonderfuls up to modern corporate brand logos. Using this formula as a reference to get a nice look and a natural proportion.
The Eastern Chinese Lu Ban Feng Shui (Lu-Ban Ruler 魯班尺)
The ancient Chinese carpenters had a special ruler to determine size and height of furniture. This measurement can enhanced the prosperity of the user according with the Feng Shui beliefs. In the Luban ruler, red numbers mean favourable measure and black numbers unfavourable.
There’s also a roughly correspondence to the “golden section”(√2) with the Luban cun (Chinese inches) which is 1.44:1. This awesome fact connects the two measurement systems. Western and Easter connected by the Golden Ratio.
There are three rulers according with the proposal of the project that you want to build.
LiK Measures
Our LiK blocks combine the two measurement systems: 2, 3 and 5 cm width and 1 cm thick (Fibonacci) and the length of 11, 22 and 41cm (Luban Ruler).
LiK aims to create products in household according with Feng Shui orientation, harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment and bring us good fortune to our family. With Lik, nature is a source of inspiration.

LiK for the youngest ones
LiK blocks are also a safe toy for kids, offering an exciting creative world playing with wooden blocks. As parents, you can learn from your children, looking how they play and interact creating an awesome world of stories and games.

Woodworking with LiK
LiK could be a really encouraging way for those who love the creativity but are scared about the complexity of the conventional DIY. You only need nails a hammer and milk glue. No sawing, machines or any other dangerous tool.
Using our “First Layout Technique” assembling objects is so easy. You just need to “draw” your design with our LiK blocks. Then add a second layer, hammer the joints and so on.
